Major delays after four car crash on main Dublin commuter route

Fire and Garda traffic services attended the scene of the crash this morning.

A FOUR CAR crash on the N4 at Lucan is causing hour-long tailbacks and heavy delays this morning.

The crash took place opposite the Texaco petrol station in Lucan inbound on the N4.

The crash has resulted in serious traffic delays coming onto the M50 from Maynooth in Kildare.

AA Roadwatch say that it is taking over an hour for vehicles to travel from Junction 7 Maynooth to the M50 Interchange.

The crash has been moved to the bus lane after Junction 3 Lucan.

Traffic remains heavy on all routes going through Lucan, as well as on the Maynooth and Clane roads into Celbridge.
